When do I book a Newborn Session?
Newborns are best to photograph when they are 7-10 days old. We only book a limited number of babies per month so we suggest booking as early as possible in your pregnancy. Once the baby is born we then lock in a date.
If you haven't booked in and your baby is already here... that's okay! Get in contact anyway and we'll try our very hardest to fit you in.
How long does a Newborn session take?
We allow 2-3 hours for Newborn sessions. This allows for feeding and settling and means no one is feeling rushed.
When will we get our photos?
We will send you a link to your private online password-protected gallery 1-2 weeks after your session.
Once you've ordered your prints and/or products please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery of these.
Do you offer Video as well?
Absolutely! We think video is a really important part of the process. Imagine in 10 years time being able to go back and relive those moments you've forgotten. The sounds, the tiny movements, the details - we love them.
What if it rains?
We keep an eye on the weather before your shoot and if it looks like it will be unsuitable for shooting then we will contact you to reschedule approximately 24-48 hours beforehand.
What time of day is best for my session?
Studio sessions for newborns and very young children are held in the morning.
Smash the cake session can be morning or late afternoon just depends on the location you go with.
Outdoor portraits are best scheduled late afternoon as the sun is much lower in the sky and makes for a more pleasing portrait.
Can I request particular photos?
Absolutely, I always urge clients to tell me any special photos they may want before the day so I can plan them in as best I can. However remember any time we spend doing requests is lost from elsewhere.

Session fee is due within 7 days of your booking to secure your date. Your session fee is non-refundable if you decide to cancel however can be transferred to another date.
Your session fee covers your photo shoot, my time post-processing your beautiful images, where I hand-pick and edit the very best images from your session. Payment plans are available for your print/product orders.
